When we last left off, Sauda had started seeing her boss, Donnovan Steel, in spite of her original belief that he was an incorrigible fairy lover. They kissed and everything! I was happy, Sauda was happy, Donnovan was happy, EVERYONE was happy! Sauda also became an official adult, which only increased my SAUDA-MUST-HAVE-BABIES-SOON mania. Now that Sauda is a mature, grown-up sim, what will happen next? Well, the first thing newly aged up Sauda will do is...
...apparently dress like a street-walker. What on earth is she wearing??
Sauda: This is my new work uniform. I like it!
Of course she likes it! Of course! And I wonder who assigned her that outfit... perhaps a certain boss she happens to be dating? And does she get any promotions out of said boss she's dating? NO! Instead, she gets slutty work uniforms! Great, just great.
It's probably a good thing she doesn't have any children yet. If they saw "Mommy" wearing that outfit, they'd want to claw their eyes out!
After work, Sauda calls up Donnovan. Notice that she doesn't bother to change out of her trashy clothes.
Sauda: He's busy, grrrrr! Just like he was busy all day at work today!
They're already having relationship problems? NO NO NO NO! Come on Sauda, fix it up for long enough to Try For Baby at least once!
Sauda: He's busy all week!
Sauda: Like that can stop me!
I shudder to think of what she might be planning.
And her plan apparently includes... inviting over Taj? That's unexpected.
Taj: And I was watching this great fight on tv, you should've seen them punch each other, it was like...
Sauda: BOOORING!
Such a sweet sim, that Sauda of mine. Always so considerate and ready to lend a listening ear.
And I'm still not sure what insanity she's got up her sleeve this time.
Sauda: Hey, could you mention to the boss that we've been hanging out a lot lately. He's really pushing this "get close with your coworkers" thing on me. He might get a bit more easygoing if you tell him that we're together like, all the time. I think that would really make him happy!
Taj: Oh sure, I'll mention that while we're on patrol tomorrow.
OHHHH, so this is Sauda's master plan. Make Donnovan jealous by making him think that Sauda's getting close with Taj. Wow, very shrewd on her part.
Taj: Want to watch the stars?
Okay, what is WRONG with this man? He never flirts with Sauda, but out of nowhere sometimes he'll just ask her to watch the stars with him. I don't understand men, even sim men!
Sauda: Ohh, look, doesn't that constellation look just like our boss's angry face when there's a criminal on the loose?
Taj: Umm...
Sauda: Speaking of the boss, you should tell him we did this. He's a big fan of star-watching, you know. Always wanting to know what other people see. Tell him we star-watched together! It may make him want to give both of us raises.
Taj: Sure. I guess?
Poor Taj, he doesn't see yet that Sauda's affections have moved on to a new target. Maybe he should've left his family before, if he really wanted to win over Sauda.
Well, something Sauda did must've worked, because the next day after work, in spite of being "busy," Donnovan heads home with Sauda. She quickly changes into a bathing suit, because this is Sauda, and it's pretty much impossible for her to wear situation appropriate clothing.
Sauda: Hey handsome!
Okay, there's a point when this stops being cute and is instead vomit-inducing. Sauda's attempts at pick up lines = less sweet, more blarrrrggggghhhh.
Ummm, whoa there! During this make out session, a certain wish popped up. WOOHOO! I'm just a few short steps away from BABIES!
It's all set to happen, things are looking good, but then on the way to the shower...
Donnovan: Nope! I'm actually really busy and have to leave this minute. Bye!
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! Donnovan is gone before the pivotal moment.
Sauda is clearly annoyed as well.
The next day, Sauda goes to work looking like rather ridiculous.
Sauda: Is anyone looking? Please say no one's looking!
So she's embarrassed by this but can wear the pink and black leather monstrosity all over the place?
Sauda: Donnovan is in such trouble when I see him! He made me wear this!
Yes, I would in fact be worried if I were him. Angry Sauda is scary.
The two decide to go on a date after work. Sauda seems to have overcome some of her anger.
They sing some karaoke to let out their emotions.
Random townie person stays on the stage too. Awkward.
Sauda: He's always so busy and never makes time for meeeeee!
Donnovan: She's with another guy then just assumes I'm freeeee!
Somehow I don't think they're singing along to the real lyrics anymore.
After letting out their anger at each other through song, they find a photo booth.
Sauda: So hey, want to make a masterpiece of our own in there? *wink wink, nudge nudge*
I guess that's a yes.
Good thing no one is hanging around outside. I can't imagine that police officers are supposed to engage in public woohoo...
Sauda: WHOA! I didn't know I looked like THAT when I-
Sauda: NO. MORE. EVIDENCE.
Awww, the two of them seem so happy.
The date continues to go well, and they even start up a game of pool.
Sauda ends up being surprisingly good. In the end she actually kicks Donnovan's butt. She's a natural pool player. Who knew?
Work the next day... I imagine Donnovan and Sauda are both tired, they were out pretty late the night before. I laugh at the idea of them trying to hide their relationship from their coworkers.
While Sauda's working and I'm being a town stalker, I see Princess walking around. She's a hilariously self-centered sim made by SmilzPretty, and she's also married to Chenmn123's simself. What's she doing outside of the police station? Let's hope she didn't get herself into to some trouble...
As I continue stalking the town, I notice a couple flirting sweetly.
And then I realize something pretty cool: IT'S THE SAME COUPLE FROM BEFORE! You know, this couple from Chapter 1.2, the pregnant woman and the man, acting so adorable in public.
And it just made my heart warm, to think that these sims aged, but their relationship still remains strong. Makes me wonder if Sauda's relationship with Donnovan will ever be anything as sweet as this.
Well, the future is not yet written, and even an insane sim like Sauda deserves true love. So I'll hold out some hope :)
So, Sauda's finally had her first woohoo! YAAAYY! Things are very... turbulent with Donnovan. How can this end for Sauda? Is she destined for a life of fighting? Are there any babies looming in the future, perhaps? On her second wish for woohoo with the same sim I'm allowed to hit Try For Baby instead, so we'll see.
