Chapter 1.12: The House Crashers

Hey guys, look at this! An update that didn't take a month plus to come out. It didn't even take two weeks! Maybe I'm overcoming my procrastinating, lazy side after all ;)

Last chapter, Sauda threw a bachelorette party to disastrous effect. Her strategy of inviting everyone and their mother DID not pay off, resulting in death, one highly flirtatious ex, and basically an unsuccessful party. Now a reluctant Sauda has to deal with some party guests who seem to think the party is still going, even the next morning...

Well, even after Sauda's screaming outburst no one bothers to leave. I guess they're not afraid of her insanity. So she turns off the radio and goes back to sleep. Darren even keeps playing the guitar. It looks like Sauda may have picked up some new roommates...

Photobucket

Well, the toddlers don't seem to mind all the extra sims at the house. I suppose they've already grown used to chaos in their short lives. They just continue on with their typical, adorable behavior.

Photobucket

Photobucket

Sauda dreams about her upcoming wedding. Well, that's a good sign for Donnovan, right?

Photobucket

The guests make themselves right at home.

Photobucket

Darren and Haidee seem to be getting a little... close. Darren, you know the party is over, right? Now if you do anything with another sim you can't even blame the loose morals environment of a bachelorette party.

Photobucket

But Darren doesn't seem to care.

Haidee: Here are some flowers I picked just for you!

Little liar! You didn't even know he existed till last night.

Darren: Whoa! I'm so excited I might just pee my pants!

Please, please don't. Sauda has enough problems right now. She doesn't need a pee-stained rug too!

Photobucket

Sauda: Off to work! When I'm back, I want all of you to be GONE!

Photobucket

In a strangely thoughtful move, Sauda hires a babysitter to ensure that none of her house crashers decide to run away with her children.

Unfortunately, the babysitter is a little nutty. He seems a bit too excited to be around the toddlers.

Photobucket

I don't think Barbara likes him very much.

Photobucket

But don't worry Barbara, now Daddy is home! Even though Haidee is kind of creeping awkwardly in the background.

Photobucket

Then Donnovan teaches Vlad how to talk.

Donnovan: Vlad, say money. Muh-nee. Money is good, because when you have it you don't have to live in tiny, ugly houses like ours.

Vlad: Muh-nee good.

Donnovan: That's right, Vlad, money very good!

Photobucket

Sauda: Okay, why are all of them still here?

Yeah, they've been hanging around the house all day. It really does seem like they all intend to move in.

Photobucket

Perhaps to escape her now overcrowded house, Sauda heads outside to work on her art.

Photobucket

Donnovan can't run any longer. Now that they're both home from work it's time to have a discussion. Since they have essentially given up on getting the house crashers out, I guess that conversation is going to have to be outside.

Sauda: Why'd you go outside with Cadence, Donny? Did the fairies make you do it?

Sauda would bring up the fairies.

Photobucket

Donnovan: No, Sauda, there were no fairies. What's with you and the fairies, anyway? But really, it just felt okay in the moment. Not like I was doing anything wrong. It wasn't such a big deal, really? All we did was look at some stars for like two seconds.

Sauda: Well, you were. We're getting married soon, so you can't go off with any other sims, or else I'll have to label you a fairy-lover, like I originally thought you were, and plot your downfall along with your evil fairy companions. And how would you like that, huh? HUH?

I bet Donnovan's slightly regretting saying yes to the marriage proposal of an insane sim. That's what you get for agreeing to marry a sim you officially dated for exactly two seconds!

Photobucket

Donnovan: You hypocrite! First you used to be all over Taj, and don't think I didn't notice you and Darren! We're going to have to talk later about whether this is all working.

Sauda: Fine!

Photobucket

Meanwhile, the guests are getting hungry. And apparently helping themselves to the contents of the fridge.

Photobucket

Sauda: Vlad, your father is still being a real, fairy-like jerk. He may not be living with us much longer, that's all I have to say.

Vlad: Tramp!

Well, looks like Sauda's vocab lessons are setting in more than Donnovan's are...

Photobucket

Donnovan: After arguing with my fiance I shouldn't have to walk back in to a crowded, chaotic house. They all need to leave.

Well, that's something he and Sauda definitely agree on. Maybe their dislike of their house crashers will unite them and save their relationship!

Photobucket

Unfortunately, it looks like the crashers are all ready to get the party started again.

Photobucket

Shirtless, sleepy Donnovan is not pleased.

Donnovan: I want them gone NOW!

Sauda: If you get them out of here right now, I'll forgive you for flirting with your stupid ex and we can get married like we planned.

Donnovan: Deal!

Photobucket

I don't know what Donnovan did, but it worked. The house crashers have officially been evicted!

Photobucket

And we're left with the inhabitants who actually belong- the cute toddlers! :)

Photobucket

Photobucket

With all the people gone, Sauda can actually be a halfway decent parent. Even though she really seems to favor Vlad over poor little Barbara.

Photobucket

And the engaged couple can finally sleep in peace. Well, as peaceful as this house ever is, given that a cell phone is ringing and Donnovan is dreaming about garbage.

Photobucket

Sauda even gets some cleaning done, though she does it in an outfit we'd all rather never see again (her elder birthday is in less than a sim week, folks! The outfit will not be around much longer now!).

Photobucket

I like her work outfit of the day though. Who is she going undercover as, the mayor??

Photobucket

I'll leave you all with a shot of sweet little Vlad attempting to use the activity table. I can't imagine that he's actually getting much done, given that he's standing in the table and his hands are behind his back. But who knows with sims? ;)

Photobucket

I hope you all enjoyed this update! The bachelorette party and it's aftermath took me forever to write. I hope things will go faster now that it's finished, especially because I know for a fact there are some interesting things coming up soon ;)

Next time, we'll see if Sauda sticks to her promise and makes things work out with Donnovan. Also, we've got some birthdays coming up, and aren't we all curious what Vlad and Barbara will look like as kids? As always when Sauda is involved, you can expect more insanity and ridiculousness!

Remember to comment here or on my thread on the Sims 3 forum. I love to hear any and all feedback!

Chapter 1.11: Party Like a Random!

After another way too long break I'm back for another update in Sauda's life, and as promised this chapter is all about the upcoming bachelorette party. Last chapter, Sauda proposed to Donnovan (after officially dating for a whole long two seconds) and he moved in. Though Donnovan has an unfortunate Heartbreaker LTW, he is actually a good parent, unlike Sauda. With the new attraction system rearing its ugly head, and Sauda wanting to have a bachelorette party, what will happen? (The answer: a whole lot of nuttiness!)

Looks like the party is starting! Sauda got changed into a nice bachelorette dress. The first guest (Haidee, a sim made by nxtashaxt) is already here.

Sauda: I invited everyone that Donnovan and I know so that I'd have lots of people over for my exciting party!

Sounds like an awful idea. Whatever happened to the fun concept of a small party with only a few friends?? Oh yeah, I forgot, Sauda doesn't exactly have tons of those...

And speaking of Donnovan, I don't think the groom is supposed to be home for the bachelorette party. Get going, Donnovan!

Photobucket

Some more guests are showing up, including Jake (x_MG_x)'s simself in the background and... uh oh... Cadence (by skdluzak). Cadence is one of Donnovan's exes and I think at some point or another Sauda may have persuaded Donnovan to break up with her. However it happened, her and Sauda are most definitely enemies.

Photobucket

Cadence: Oh, it's you, Donnovan. And Sauda, you relationship spoiler!

Whose party did she think she was going to, anyway?

Photobucket

Well, at least Jake looks happy. I don't think him and Sauda have ever actually met before, but she invited all of Donnovan's acquaintances too.

Photobucket

Cadence: I'm going to get out all of my anger by spraying everyone with nectar. Mwahahaha!

Sauda better watch out. Cadence may just try to drown her with nectar.

Photobucket

Oh, and look who showed up. It's Sauda's one time chess partner, Sammi Claremont. Sauda beat her at chess and then proceeded to confuse her with her usual insane antics. I thought for sure Sammi would never come anywhere near the house again!

Photobucket

And maybe it wasn't such a good idea for Sammi. This isn't looking too good for the sim.

Sammi: Why am I surrounded by shiny yellow stars? Everyone else can see this, right? I haven't even drank any nectar yet!

Umm... who wants to break it to her that she's dying?

Photobucket

Sammi: I suddenly feel very transparent.

Photobucket

Sammi: Hey girls, it's time to par-tay!!

Cadence: Ignore the creepy old ghost Haidee, let's keep chatting till she realizes she's dead.

Wow, talk about heartless, Cadence!

Photobucket

Haidee: Wait? She's dead??

Sauda: During my party? WHY?? It's the fairies, they're behind this!

You know, kind of sucks for Sammi. Instead of dying among family and friends, she dies among strangers (really weird strangers too) and one sim who she played chess against once.

Photobucket

Grimmy is doing his whole shebang from outside. I wouldn't be surprised if Sauda's ugly house offends his sensibilities too much for him to walk in.

Photobucket

And the worst part: Now Sauda's stuck with the grave. Great! Poor Sammi's family members will never know where she went, and her ghost will haunt Sauda's home forever. It could turn into a local legend!

Photobucket

Look who's arriving to the party late. Hello Darren! I'm pretty sure he's the only actual friend of Sauda who bothered to show up (and the only non-player-made sim).

Sammi: Hey, I can stick my head through the door, cool!

At least there are some pros to her new ghostly state. Then again, you can also stick your head (or any other body part) through a door if you're a glitched sim, so it's not really that unique in this lovely glitchy game ;)

Photobucket

Oh, the reaper finally decided to step inside.

Grimmy: Sammi Claremont, I am here to take your soul and send you to the beyond.

Sammi: You mean I'm dead?

She finally catches on.

Photobucket

Sammi: Can I at least drink a little nectar first and maybe kiss a cute party dancer?

Photobucket

Grimmy: NO.

Sammi: Aww, no party? No fair!

Photobucket

Sauda: My party is ruined! Curse you, fairies!

Even though her sadness is so selfish, I can't help but pity my poor sim. I mean, couldn't Grimmy have waited till the party was over?

Photobucket

But, as with all things, the party goes on despite the random and sudden death that occurred. Someone turns the music on and sims start dancing. Cadence is determined to shake what her mama gave her- I guess she's ready for a new guy. And Darren seems to be noticing!

Darren: Whoa, who's that??

Photobucket

Sauda changes into her regular clothes (I guess she got sick of the party outfit) and then goes to tell off Darren for his wandering eye.

Sauda: Hey! She's my enemy! And you're married AND we just went on a date today, even if it was a total fail of a date! If you're going to stare at anyone besides your wife it should be me!

Thank you, new attraction system. Really, thank you so much. Because there wasn't enough drama in Sauda's life BEFORE you came around. Now my game has turned into a massive attraction orgy where everyone has the hots for everyone else.

Photobucket

Cadence comes over to chat.

Sauda: And then I won the love of my lovely fiance Donnovan, and now we're so happy together. And he hates all of his exes!

That wasn't subtle at all, Sauda.

Darren: I thought we were talking about the garbage problem in this city, not Donnovan...

Photobucket

But Cadence won't seem to leave them alone.

Sauda: Why did I invite her at all? First some lady dies, then Cadence won't stop bugging me, this party sucks!

Cadence: Hey Darren! Wanna dance?

Photobucket

Meanwhile, the other sims are getting to know each other.

Haidee: Hey, what's your sign?

Photobucket

Sauda: I might as well be productive for my job if the party is going to be so bad. I'm going to interview you now, Darren.

Oh yes, Sauda is working during her bachelorette party. This is Sauda we're talking about. And hey, you can't say she's not committed to advancing in her job :)

Photobucket

Oh, look who's home. It's Donnovan. That's probably okay though, considering that nothing wild and scandalous is really happening at the party.

Photobucket

Haidee tries to give Jake some flowers. He looks unimpressed. Oh yeah, that might just possibly be because he has a wife, Lina.

Photobucket

Donnovan starts talking with Cadence. I doubt this will end well.

Donnovan: I remember you! We dated, didn't we? That was a good time. Why did we break up again?

Cadence: Sauda asked you to break up with me.

Donnovan: Oh yeah...

Photobucket

Donnovan: It was nice, all those times we used to just hold hands.

Sauda, pay attention, your womanizer of a fiance is making the moves on his ex! Stop talking about fishing!

Photobucket

Well, now she's noticing.

Sauda: Why is my fiance talking to his bleeping ex-girlfriend, my arch-nemesis?!?

Arch-nemesis? Is Sauda now a super hero or something?

Photobucket

Donnovan and Cadence head outside to stargaze like the "good old days." Anyone want to place bets on whether Donnovan will be broken up with by the end of the night? Not to mention beat up by Sauda. I mean, she beat up that burglar, she can definitely take down Cadence, and maybe even Donnovan too.

Photobucket

Darren plays some music to attempt to diffuse the tension.

Photobucket

But Sauda is not happy.

Photobucket

Haidee: I'm not sure why I came to this party. There aren't even any single men.

Photobucket

Jake wisely avoids the conflict by playing a video game.

Photobucket

Oh Cadence, give it a rest. She's literally flirted with every guy at the party.

Photobucket

Sauda is so fed up with everyone that she actually seeks out her son for comfort.

Sauda: Vlad, your father is a liar and an awful heartbreaker of a sim. Never turn out like him. Watching the stars with that tramp of a sim, Cadence! I'll get him for that!

Vlad: Tramp? Mama, what tramp?

Lovely, she's teaching the kids such nice words.

Photobucket

Donnovan is trying to stave off the inevitable fight by keeping the party going with his dancing skills.

Photobucket

Cadence looks determined to get a guy, any guy. Right now she's staring at Jake, as if waiting for him to give in.

Photobucket

Jake: Okay, Cadence, have some flowers, just please stop staring at me like a creeper.

Cadence: Aww, how sweet of you!

I think Cadence missed something in his comment.

Photobucket

Nice delayed mourning, Darren.

Darren: I can't believe Sammi's dead. WAAAHHHHH!

Sauda: Why is SHE still here??

Photobucket

Well, the sun is rising and a new day is coming. That means the party should be over... right?

Photobucket

But the guests just don't seem to want to leave.

Haidee: Fun! We don't have one of these at my house!

Photobucket

Sauda: I'm cleaning up, that means you should all GO HOME.

I can't blame her for putting on the Grumpy Face, she didn't exactly have the best party ever.

Photobucket

A cute father-daughter moment. Donnovan is kind of being a jerk, but at least Barbara is still cute :)

Photobucket

Well, guests be damned, Sauda is tired and she's going to get her sleep.

Photobucket

Even through some fighting.

Donnovan: Hey, you may have messed things up for me with my fiance. Why don't you just go? Plus, I think you clogged our toilet!

Well, at least Donnovan seems committed to working things out with Sauda.

Photobucket

Sauda will even sleep through Donnovan leaving for work, and Darren playing the guitar.

Photobucket

But there are only so many noise onslaughts one sim can take.

Photobucket

Sauda: WHO TURNED ON THE RADIO AND WOKE ME UP??????

Photobucket

Sauda: GGAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHH! ALL OF YOU GET OUT OF MY HOUSE!!!

Photobucket

Well, that certainly wasn't the bachelorette party that Sauda hoped for, and our poor insane sim isn't faring too well after that trying night. Will Sauda and Donnovan figure out their problems or is the engagement off? Also, will Cadence, Darren, Haidee, and Jake listen to Sauda and finally leave, or will this become the party that never ends?

Remember to comment on here or the thread! Again, I'm sorry this took so long to update. I've actually had the pictures for a while, but first had no time to write it and then was focused on a contest I'm running. I'm hoping the next update will be up soon, since I have most of the pictures for it :)
