After another way too long break I'm back for another update in Sauda's life, and as promised this chapter is all about the upcoming bachelorette party. Last chapter, Sauda proposed to Donnovan (after officially dating for a whole long two seconds) and he moved in. Though Donnovan has an unfortunate Heartbreaker LTW, he is actually a good parent, unlike Sauda. With the new attraction system rearing its ugly head, and Sauda wanting to have a bachelorette party, what will happen? (The answer: a whole lot of nuttiness!)
Looks like the party is starting! Sauda got changed into a nice bachelorette dress. The first guest (Haidee, a sim made by nxtashaxt) is already here.
Sauda: I invited everyone that Donnovan and I know so that I'd have lots of people over for my exciting party!
Sounds like an awful idea. Whatever happened to the fun concept of a small party with only a few friends?? Oh yeah, I forgot, Sauda doesn't exactly have tons of those...
And speaking of Donnovan, I don't think the groom is supposed to be home for the bachelorette party. Get going, Donnovan!
Some more guests are showing up, including Jake (x_MG_x)'s simself in the background and... uh oh... Cadence (by skdluzak). Cadence is one of Donnovan's exes and I think at some point or another Sauda may have persuaded Donnovan to break up with her. However it happened, her and Sauda are most definitely enemies.
Cadence: Oh, it's you, Donnovan. And Sauda, you relationship spoiler!
Whose party did she think she was going to, anyway?
Well, at least Jake looks happy. I don't think him and Sauda have ever actually met before, but she invited all of Donnovan's acquaintances too.
Cadence: I'm going to get out all of my anger by spraying everyone with nectar. Mwahahaha!
Sauda better watch out. Cadence may just try to drown her with nectar.
Oh, and look who showed up. It's Sauda's one time chess partner, Sammi Claremont. Sauda beat her at chess and then proceeded to confuse her with her usual insane antics. I thought for sure Sammi would never come anywhere near the house again!
And maybe it wasn't such a good idea for Sammi. This isn't looking too good for the sim.
Sammi: Why am I surrounded by shiny yellow stars? Everyone else can see this, right? I haven't even drank any nectar yet!
Umm... who wants to break it to her that she's dying?
Sammi: I suddenly feel very transparent.
Sammi: Hey girls, it's time to par-tay!!
Cadence: Ignore the creepy old ghost Haidee, let's keep chatting till she realizes she's dead.
Wow, talk about heartless, Cadence!
Haidee: Wait? She's dead??
Sauda: During my party? WHY?? It's the fairies, they're behind this!
You know, kind of sucks for Sammi. Instead of dying among family and friends, she dies among strangers (really weird strangers too) and one sim who she played chess against once.
Grimmy is doing his whole shebang from outside. I wouldn't be surprised if Sauda's ugly house offends his sensibilities too much for him to walk in.
And the worst part: Now Sauda's stuck with the grave. Great! Poor Sammi's family members will never know where she went, and her ghost will haunt Sauda's home forever. It could turn into a local legend!
Look who's arriving to the party late. Hello Darren! I'm pretty sure he's the only actual friend of Sauda who bothered to show up (and the only non-player-made sim).
Sammi: Hey, I can stick my head through the door, cool!
At least there are some pros to her new ghostly state. Then again, you can also stick your head (or any other body part) through a door if you're a glitched sim, so it's not really that unique in this lovely glitchy game ;)
Oh, the reaper finally decided to step inside.
Grimmy: Sammi Claremont, I am here to take your soul and send you to the beyond.
Sammi: You mean I'm dead?
She finally catches on.
Sammi: Can I at least drink a little nectar first and maybe kiss a cute party dancer?
Grimmy: NO.
Sammi: Aww, no party? No fair!
Sauda: My party is ruined! Curse you, fairies!
Even though her sadness is so selfish, I can't help but pity my poor sim. I mean, couldn't Grimmy have waited till the party was over?
But, as with all things, the party goes on despite the random and sudden death that occurred. Someone turns the music on and sims start dancing. Cadence is determined to shake what her mama gave her- I guess she's ready for a new guy. And Darren seems to be noticing!
Darren: Whoa, who's that??
Sauda changes into her regular clothes (I guess she got sick of the party outfit) and then goes to tell off Darren for his wandering eye.
Sauda: Hey! She's my enemy! And you're married AND we just went on a date today, even if it was a total fail of a date! If you're going to stare at anyone besides your wife it should be me!
Thank you, new attraction system. Really, thank you so much. Because there wasn't enough drama in Sauda's life BEFORE you came around. Now my game has turned into a massive attraction orgy where everyone has the hots for everyone else.
Cadence comes over to chat.
Sauda: And then I won the love of my lovely fiance Donnovan, and now we're so happy together. And he hates all of his exes!
That wasn't subtle at all, Sauda.
Darren: I thought we were talking about the garbage problem in this city, not Donnovan...
But Cadence won't seem to leave them alone.
Sauda: Why did I invite her at all? First some lady dies, then Cadence won't stop bugging me, this party sucks!
Cadence: Hey Darren! Wanna dance?
Meanwhile, the other sims are getting to know each other.
Haidee: Hey, what's your sign?
Sauda: I might as well be productive for my job if the party is going to be so bad. I'm going to interview you now, Darren.
Oh yes, Sauda is working during her bachelorette party. This is Sauda we're talking about. And hey, you can't say she's not committed to advancing in her job :)
Oh, look who's home. It's Donnovan. That's probably okay though, considering that nothing wild and scandalous is really happening at the party.
Haidee tries to give Jake some flowers. He looks unimpressed. Oh yeah, that might just possibly be because he has a wife, Lina.
Donnovan starts talking with Cadence. I doubt this will end well.
Donnovan: I remember you! We dated, didn't we? That was a good time. Why did we break up again?
Cadence: Sauda asked you to break up with me.
Donnovan: Oh yeah...
Donnovan: It was nice, all those times we used to just hold hands.
Sauda, pay attention, your womanizer of a fiance is making the moves on his ex! Stop talking about fishing!
Well, now she's noticing.
Sauda: Why is my fiance talking to his bleeping ex-girlfriend, my arch-nemesis?!?
Arch-nemesis? Is Sauda now a super hero or something?
Donnovan and Cadence head outside to stargaze like the "good old days." Anyone want to place bets on whether Donnovan will be broken up with by the end of the night? Not to mention beat up by Sauda. I mean, she beat up that burglar, she can definitely take down Cadence, and maybe even Donnovan too.
Darren plays some music to attempt to diffuse the tension.
But Sauda is not happy.
Haidee: I'm not sure why I came to this party. There aren't even any single men.
Jake wisely avoids the conflict by playing a video game.
Oh Cadence, give it a rest. She's literally flirted with every guy at the party.
Sauda is so fed up with everyone that she actually seeks out her son for comfort.
Sauda: Vlad, your father is a liar and an awful heartbreaker of a sim. Never turn out like him. Watching the stars with that tramp of a sim, Cadence! I'll get him for that!
Vlad: Tramp? Mama, what tramp?
Lovely, she's teaching the kids such nice words.
Donnovan is trying to stave off the inevitable fight by keeping the party going with his dancing skills.
Cadence looks determined to get a guy, any guy. Right now she's staring at Jake, as if waiting for him to give in.
Jake: Okay, Cadence, have some flowers, just please stop staring at me like a creeper.
Cadence: Aww, how sweet of you!
I think Cadence missed something in his comment.
Nice delayed mourning, Darren.
Darren: I can't believe Sammi's dead. WAAAHHHHH!
Sauda: Why is SHE still here??
Well, the sun is rising and a new day is coming. That means the party should be over... right?
But the guests just don't seem to want to leave.
Haidee: Fun! We don't have one of these at my house!
Sauda: I'm cleaning up, that means you should all GO HOME.
I can't blame her for putting on the Grumpy Face, she didn't exactly have the best party ever.
A cute father-daughter moment. Donnovan is kind of being a jerk, but at least Barbara is still cute :)
Well, guests be damned, Sauda is tired and she's going to get her sleep.
Even through some fighting.
Donnovan: Hey, you may have messed things up for me with my fiance. Why don't you just go? Plus, I think you clogged our toilet!
Well, at least Donnovan seems committed to working things out with Sauda.
Sauda will even sleep through Donnovan leaving for work, and Darren playing the guitar.
But there are only so many noise onslaughts one sim can take.
Sauda: WHO TURNED ON THE RADIO AND WOKE ME UP??????
Sauda: GGAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHH! ALL OF YOU GET OUT OF MY HOUSE!!!
Well, that certainly wasn't the bachelorette party that Sauda hoped for, and our poor insane sim isn't faring too well after that trying night. Will Sauda and Donnovan figure out their problems or is the engagement off? Also, will Cadence, Darren, Haidee, and Jake listen to Sauda and finally leave, or will this become the party that never ends?
Remember to comment on here or the thread! Again, I'm sorry this took so long to update. I've actually had the pictures for a while, but first had no time to write it and then was focused on a contest I'm running. I'm hoping the next update will be up soon, since I have most of the pictures for it :)
